Cottesmore Golf
Academy
Learn to play at the Cottesmore Golf Academy and have fun in a relaxed friendly environment. Our team of PGA Golf Professionals is amongst the most qualified, experienced, and committed in Sussex and is ready to help improve your game, today!
We host up to six beginner classes a week and as a beginner, your first group lesson is free! There is no need to pre-book these lessons - just turn up on the day. We can supply clubs, balls and all other equipment. Tuition is provided by our highly experienced team of instructors.
Individual Lessons
All of our coaches are available for one-to-one lessons and have over 50 years of experience between them. Private lessons can develop your game quickly and give you a far deeper understanding of it, too.
You will have the undivided attention of your golf coach for the duration of each lesson, plus a bespoke action plan. We're flexible with lesson times, so it’s possible to fit golf into your busy schedule.
Group Lessons
We currently run ladies only classes and mixed classes on Monday and Tuesday mornings, Tuesday afternoons, Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons. We can supply everything you need to get started.
Just bring yourself, and a beginner’s first group lesson is free! We can supply clubs and balls, and we'll have you on the golf course within one month of starting!
Junior Golf Lessons
Cottesmore Golf Academy has built up a fantastic reputation for coaching young golfers. We have many players representing their county across all age groups and our Academy Manager, Calum Callan, was awarded the Pro Shop Europe 2013 Junior Coach of the Year.
From trying golf at schools and free taster sessions at the club, to going the distance and playing golf for your county or even country, Cottesmore provides a real pathway for children to get into this fantastic sport.
Golf Professionals at
Cottesmore
Cottesmore currently has four golf coaches available for individual, group and junior golf lessons.
All have their own style, although their teaching could be described as ‘orthodox’, sticking to the proven fundamentals of golf – quite refreshing given the plethora of quirky teaching methods around today.
All of our coaches are regular golfers and compete themselves, so have experienced all the highs and lows we all go through on the golf course.
